You may have heard all of the stories about people with legal rights to stay in the country being kicked out of the country, or the news reports about German tourists being detained and deported because they didn’t have a set travel plan. Seeing this, you may have thought, “I don’t get it — what did these people do wrong?”

Well, U.S. Customs and Border Protection have heard your desire for clarification on border issues. And so, they’re proud to debut a new character: a shark-eyed anime man.

What’s his name? No idea, but he appears to be standing in front of an A.I.-generated map of the U.S. that crudely blends Wisconsin and Illinois (and extends Lake Michigan deep into the latter, for some reason).
